Laguna Art Museum
Laguna Beach, CA

Modern Alchemy was an assemblage of wearable art by award-winning California artist-jeweler Adam Neeley. Neeley transforms precious metals and gemstones into wearable art using traditional goldsmithing techniques and modern technology. His unique designs are inspired by the rich variety of shapes and colors found in the natural world. The exhibition explored the creative working process of this innovative jeweler, along with some of the raw and faceted gems and minerals he used to create his art.
